Fall Meeting October 20The Fall Meeting of the Lake Lansing Property Owner's Association will be held October 20th at Blondie's Barn with dinner and the meeting beginning at 6 pm (doors open at 5:30). Election of Officers, Lake Water Quality, Road Ends Ordinance and Special Assessment District activities are among items on the agenda. Click here to see a copy of the agenda. Blondie's Barn will have a special menu for $8 a person including drink and tax. The options include Burger, Cheeseburger, Pattymelt, Tunamelt, Turkey & Swiss, Reuben, Turkey Bacon Wrap, Buffalo Chicken Wrap, Grilled Chicken Wrap w/ Fries or Chips. Another option is a Chicken Pot Pie dinner. MSU Sailing Club Docks Out FundraiserThe Michigan State University Sailing Club is having its annual Docks Out Fundraiser. If you would like to have Club members take your dock out - or help with some other activity this fall, they will welcome your call. These changes will make their way into the Lake Lansing Directory. However, LLPOA-eNews is completely separate from the Directory. LLPOA-eNews is a "do-it-yourself" system. If you have an email change, you will need to make it yourself in the LLPOA-eNews system. For information on how to use the LLPOA-eNews system, including changing your email address there, click LLPOA-eNews Help in the column on the left. 2009 Boat Parade WinnerThe winner of the 2009 Lake Lansing Boat Parade is Helen Shipley and Dave Stirdivant! The boat was theirs and was decorated by Helen and Sue Lohman, who were on the boat. Also on the boat were Walt DeGruyter, Claire Groom (Helen and Dave's five year old grand daughter) and Olivia Behovitz, a six year old guest. Congratulations! Click here for pictures. Junior Sailing Camps at LSCThe Lansing Sailing Club is running weekly sailing camps for junior sailors from June 12 thru July 14.
