Fall Meeting October 20

The Fall Meeting of the Lake Lansing Property Owner's Association will be held October 20th at Blondie's Barn with dinner and the meeting beginning at 6 pm (doors open at 5:30).

Election of Officers, Lake Water Quality, Road Ends Ordinance and Special Assessment District activities are among items on the agenda. Click here to see a copy of the agenda.

Blondie's Barn will have a special menu for $8 a person including drink and tax. The options include Burger, Cheeseburger, Pattymelt, Tunamelt, Turkey & Swiss, Reuben, Turkey Bacon Wrap, Buffalo Chicken Wrap, Grilled Chicken Wrap w/ Fries or Chips. Another option is a Chicken Pot Pie dinner.

MSU Sailing Club Docks Out Fundraiser

The Michigan State University Sailing Club is having its annual Docks Out Fundraiser. If you would like to have Club members take your dock out - or help with some other activity this fall, they will welcome your call. Euchere Tournament a Big Success

Social Director Cindy Mason put together an outstanding event with the September 25th Euchre Tournament For a $5 entry fee and a dish to pass everyone had a terrific evening of cards and fun!!

Email Address Changes for LLPOA-eNews

Some property owners have sent email address changes to the Webmaster, Membership Chair or VP for Communications. These changes will make their way into the Lake Lansing Directory.

However, LLPOA-eNews is completely separate from the Directory. LLPOA-eNews is a "do-it-yourself" system. If you have an email change, you will need to make it yourself in the LLPOA-eNews system.

2009 Boat Parade Winner

The winner of the 2009 Lake Lansing Boat Parade is Helen Shipley and Dave Stirdivant!  The boat was theirs and was decorated by Helen and Sue Lohman, who were on the boat.  Also on the boat were Walt DeGruyter, Claire Groom (Helen and Dave's five year old grand daughter) and Olivia Behovitz, a six year old guest.  Congratulations!  Click here for pictures.

Ice Cream Social Coming July 17

On Friday, July 17th the Lake Lansing Property Owner’s Association is holding an Ice Cream Social at the Band Shell at Lake Lansing Park South. Free ice cream will be provided. Come enjoy the music and cool off with an ice cream cone!

Junior Sailing Camps at LSC

The Lansing Sailing Club is running weekly sailing camps for junior sailors from June 12 thru July 14. See a picture of some of the first week campers taken by Penny Milliman on the right. Click here for more information on the camps including how to register.

Be Phosphorus Free

It is easier and easier for each of us to do our part in keeping Lake Lansing healthy. More and more stores are offering phosphorus free fertilizer for those who have the need to fertilize. Click on "Fertilizer Without Phosphorus" in the right hand column.
