Pictures Wanted for Web Site
Don’t forget the Boat
Yard Wars today at 2 pm on the Sandbar. If anyone takes pictures, please send some
good ones to webmaster@lakelansing.org
for a special page on the LLPOA web site. Don’t worry about reducing,
cropping, etc – just send original images.
Boat Parade Prizes
First, Second and Third place
prizes will be awarded for best decorated boat in the July 4, Boat Parade. To
be considered for a prize, have your decorated boat on the water in front of
the condos at 5:45 pm ready for judging. The parade begins at 6:00 pm.
Water Fight Tuesday –
But After the Parade
Immediately following the
parade, any boats interested in participating in the water fight are free to do
so! For those of you who are new to the water fight - the rules are - you must
wait until the end of the parade to "open fire". All water balloons,
launchers, super soakers, squirt guns, etc are fair game. All participants
enter the water fight at their own risk - YOU WILL GET WET! Be safe and have
fun!
Bag Your Pet’s Waste
– One of Ten Ways To Help Lake Lansing
The LLPOA web site continues
to expand. A recent addition is the document “Ten Ways to Help Lake
Lansing”. One of the ten asks us to always walk our pets in areas away
from the edge of wetlands, streams, drains, and the lake. Then, to bag our
pet's waste and dispose of it through your toilet. For other ways we can all help
